We had an amazing stay in a charming and cozy cottage surrounded by beautiful nature. The views from our room were amazing, with lush woods and various wildlife species. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had a unique bathroom design. The meals provided by Nilu, the landlady and cook, were delicious and reasonably priced. Chami, our landlord, was not only a great guide in the jungle but also a knowledgeable source of information about Ella and its surroundings. The hospitality of the entire family was excellent, making us feel like part of their family. we had a fantastic experience at Naturewoodland and would highly recommend it.

Really great stay and stunning and prime location.
Excellent place for traveling to Ella and sightseeing. Fantastic staff and host. Awesome views from the triple room. A tub bath, a shower, a bidet and bath sheets. A fully-fitted kitchen for cooking. Setting right by the jungle and main attractions. Btw, located in the forest.

I recently stayed at Naturewoodland in Ella and found it to be a convenient and suitable option for a transit stay. The homestay is located just 10+ minutes' drive away from the town, up a steep hill. However, the hosts, Chami and his wife, were extremely helpful in arranging a tuk-tuk to town for a fair price. This made it easy for me to explore the nearby attractions and enjoy the local cuisine without any hassle. the fact that the nearest airport is only 82 km away adds to the convenience for travelers.
While this may seem like a unique experience for some, it did disrupt my sleep a bit when a couple of monkeys climbed on the roof early in the morning.

Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the warm hospitality of the hosts. The room was spacious and meticulously clean, with unique touches like a waterfall sink and a tree in the sleeping area. The balcony provided a jaw-dropping view of the lush green hills. The hosts, Chami and his family, were like old friends, always ready to assist with any questions or needs we had. The food prepared by Chami's wife was beyond delicious and truly the best we had during our entire trip. Their adorable daughter brought so much joy to our stay. We truly felt like we were coming home to close friends. Thank you for making our trip to Sri Lanka unforgettable. We are already planning our next visit!
